The blue alert: an unusual case report of breast hemangioma

Abstract Background Breast hemangiomas are benign vascular lesion occurring within breast tissue. The main aim of this case report revolves around the importance follow-up and excision these lesions since they carry risk future malignancy. We herein a histopathologically confirmed hemangioma diagnosed at routine sonomammogram. Case presentation A 58-year-old female presented with skin discoloration vague mass in lateral aspect left for one month. Physical examination, mammography ultrasonography along histopathological correlation have been carried out which helped us to arrive diagnosis hemangioma. Conclusion For conclusive evidence benignity core needle biopsy, imaging is ideal those cases atypical radiological pathological findings, complete surgical resection mandatory order exclude possibility an underlying angiosarcoma.
